This is the strongest case for venetian blinds. Screens and direct sunlight don't get along — and when glare hits the monitor you adjust the slat angle instead of making the whole workspace dark.

Because every Kova venetian is made to measure, the quotation follows the specification of your project. Six things move it.
Width and height drive how much material and hardware the blind needs. A small kitchen window and a large office window aren't the same specification.
Aluminium, timber and faux-timber sit at different price points, so the material you pick moves the number directly.
Collections, finishes and slat specifications vary. Worth choosing on how it works with your interior rather than on price alone.
Manual operation is generally more affordable. Motorised systems need additional components and cost more.
One kitchen window and a whole home are different quantities. For larger projects we quote against the complete window schedule.
Window position, height, mounting condition and access can all affect the final specification.

We measure the actual window and assess the installation conditions. A few centimetres make a noticeable difference to the finished appearance.

Compare the actual colours and finishes against the room. A warm timber may complement wooden cabinetry; matte aluminium can look excellent in a monochrome kitchen or office.

Motorised options are available for suitable venetian configurations. Depending on the system and the project, different motor configurations may apply.
Consider motorisation when one of these is true — not by default.
Adjusting six blinds by hand, several times a day, gets old quickly.

Rooms where the light changes enough that you're at the window all day.

Not every venetian needs a motor. We'll help you decide where it actually makes sense rather than adding it across the board.
10/Cleaning & maintenance
Venetians are straightforward to maintain, but because there are multiple slats, regular light cleaning works far better than waiting for heavy dust to build up.
Close the slats and wipe gently, then tilt them the other way and repeat if needed.
On suitable finishes, small marks usually come off with a soft damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and rough pads that can scratch the surface.
Treat more gently. Don't soak the slats — use a dry or lightly damp microfibre cloth depending on the material, and follow the care instructions for your specific finish.
Operate smoothly rather than yanking. If it becomes difficult to raise, lower or tilt, call us rather than forcing it. On motorised blinds, keep objects away while it runs and stop if the movement turns unusual.
